In Loving Memory

My Aunt Jan passed away early this past Sunday morning. Our family is sad to have lost her so suddenly. She was a woman with great determination & a beautiful spirit. She loved angels, being with family and travelling. I am blessed that I got to spend time with her at our recent family reuion. We will miss her much, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

We had a great time at our family reunion in Omaha over the weekend. Our hosts (my cousin, Terry & his wife) did a beautiful job setting everything up at Mahoney State Park. The park had a lodge, cabins, campgrounds & lots to do. Many of us went to the water park on-site & a few people played mini golf in addition to consuming the endless amounts of food.

We also had a chance to visit with my cousin Tara & her family in Colorado before heading east to Nebraska. They have a beautiful new home that they opened up to us. There were a couple fo beautiful sunsets that we watched over the mountains in the distance.

When we got back we discovered the next group of referrals were sent out bringing us to 11/14/05. We are only 9 LID's away from ours!! We are looking at a September referral & likely late October/early Nov travel. It's starting to feel a little more real now.

Graduation Day!!

Today Matt graduated from North Central University!! After 4 years of hard work he did it & on top of that he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

The latest referrals came this week taking us thru 11/01/05. Our Log-in-date (LID) is 11/23/05 so we are now hoping for an August or September referral. The April referral cycle only went an abysmal 2 days so we are thrilled that almost a week's worth was included this last time.

We know that ultimately God's timing will work perfectly and we continue to trust Him in this journey.
